Headlights restauration kit

$38.99

Headlights wear off with time. But what makes them deteriorate? The answer is: many things, such as sand, dust, rock fragments, UV rays. In fact, all of these factors together create scratches and micro-scratches on the plastics which make the headlights almost opaque on the long run. Don’t fear, , with Silverwax’s Headlight restoration kit, it is not irriversible. In no time and very little efforts, it will eliminates scratches as well as the yellowing and oxidation of the headlights. It contains special abrasives that, when used with the included pads, bring back the headlights to their original state!

This kit contains:

  • 225 ml bottle of the headlights restoration product.
  • 1 pad holder.
  • 1 soft pad.
  • 3 abrasive pads for water sanding.
  • 1 microfibre.

  1. MAKE SURE THE HEADLIGHTS ARE CLEAN BEFORE RESTORING THEM. IT IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO WEAR SAFETY GLASSES AND TO LIFT THE HOOD IN ORDER NOT TO SCRATCH THE VEHICLE’S PAINT.

  2. Protect the surfaces around the headlights with tape (that is safe for all surfaces).

  3. Firmly fix the pad holder into an electric screwdriver (It is not recommended to use a battery powered screwdriver).

  4. Fasten the 1000 grains sand paper onto the pad holder. Put enough water on the pad to make it wet and on the headlight too. Polish the two headlights by making random movements, but never stay at the same spot in order not to overheat the plastic. Polish until you get a matte finish and wipe. (Always keep the surface and the pad moist).

  5. Repeat this operation with the 2000 grainS and then the 3000 grains sand paper while making sure the padS and the headlights are continuously wet enough.

  6. Fasten the soft pad onto the pad holder and add a few drops of the headlights restoration product onto the pad. Polish the headlights by making linear movements, from right to left and up and downwards. Wipe off the excess with a clean microfibre.
