2012

The Foundations of Silverwax

In 2012, Laboratoire Hygienex moved into new facilities in Quebec City to increase its manufacturing and innovation capacity. This strategic investment laid the groundwork for an ambitious project: to create a brand entirely dedicated to car care and detailing for the general public.

The new facilities include a laboratory, a specialized shop, and a car detailing garage where products are developed, tested, and perfected. To this day, this location remains the heart of Silverwax's innovation and continues to drive the brand's constant evolution.

2013

When passion becomes a brand

In 2013, Silverwax was officially launched. With over 30 years of experience in the development and manufacture of professional cleaning products, Richard Pelchat created a brand that combines his technical expertise and his passion for automobiles.

2015

Canadian Tire's arrival in Quebec

Two years after its creation, Silverwax is taking a decisive step by entering Canadian Tire stores in Quebec.

This presence in major retail stores allows the brand to make its products more accessible than ever and reach a growing number of motorists. This partnership marks the beginning of a new phase of growth, where the expertise developed in the lab is now directly in the hands of consumers.

2016

A major Canadian partnership

Building on its success in Quebec, Silverwax expanded its presence to Canadian Tire stores across Canada starting in 2016.

This national expansion allowed the brand to introduce its expertise to thousands of new users from coast to coast. By broadening its distribution network, Silverwax gradually established itself as a Canadian benchmark in car care and detailing, recognized for the performance and reliability of its products.

2017

Enhanced Quebec presence

In 2017, Silverwax continued its growth in Quebec by entering Canac, a well-established and recognized retailer across the province.

This new presence allowed the brand to get closer to Quebec consumers and make its products accessible through a local network appreciated by enthusiasts and vehicle owners concerned about car maintenance.

As Silverwax continues its Canadian expansion, this partnership also reaffirms its commitment to its Quebec roots and the community that watched it grow.
