Even after a thorough wash, paint can retain embedded contaminants that make it rough to the touch. Metal particles, tar residue, and industrial fallout: Clay Bars can remove these stubborn impurities and effectively prepare the bodywork to receive a wax, sealant, or ceramic coating.

Designed for vehicle owners and car detailing enthusiasts, they capture and trap contaminants as they glide over a well-lubricated surface. This mechanical action complements traditional washing and gradually restores the paint to a clean, smooth, and soft-to-the-touch texture.

Ideal for seasonal decontamination, before polishing, or before applying protection, they are used with an appropriate lubricant, such as Silverwax Clay Bar and Pad Lubricant. Simply spray the lubricant generously on the bodywork and the bar, glide the bar in linear motions, reshaping it regularly, then wipe the surface.

Result: smooth and completely decontaminated paint, ready to receive protection that can adhere uniformly to the surface.
